Setting up a KakaoTalk sending profile

Register your KakaoTalk profile

If you don't have a KakaoTalk channel

Open it through the KakaoTalk Channel Management Center.

If you have a KakaoTalk channel

Use the ID or open a new KakaoTalk channel.

※ After opening the KakaoTalk channel, you must convert it to a business channel and make sure that the home page is set to ON.

Enter channel business authentication and customer center information

If you open a new channel, you must receive business verification from the KakaoTalk Channel Management Center.

Apply for certification

You can apply through [Management] - [Apply for Business Channel] - [Apply] in the KakaoTalk Channel Management Center. Only the master of the application channel can apply, and it takes 3 to 5 business days for review and approval.

[ Documents to be submitted ]

- Business registration certificate (or unique number certificate)

- Mail order business, medical device business, health functional food business report certificate (for applicable business)

- Employment certificate or representative's ID card

- Overseas business operators cannot apply

Check authentication status

Once the review is complete, you will receive notifications through the admin center, KakaoTalk message, etc.

Enter customer center information

In order to send Friend Talk and Notification Talk, you must enter customer center information. If customer center information is not registered, you cannot register a sending profile.

You can enter customer center information through [Profile] - Home tab card [Settings] - [Basic Information] in the KakaoTalk Channel Management Center

Setting up a calling profile in the DFINERY Console

🚩 If you have created a KakaoTalk channel, please set up your profile by following the steps below.

  1. On the Additional Settings page, click Register KakaoTalk Sending Profile.

  1. Enter the information below and register.

You can only register your Kakao Yellow ID once in DFINERY. (You can only register once for all services in the console.)

  1. Make sure the status of your sending profile is 'Active'.

Profile Status
Explanation

Active

No warning message appears when active.

Inactive

If it is inactive, you will need to check with your KakaoTalk channel manager.

Dormancy

It is in a dormant state and needs to be confirmed by a DFINERY representative.

Block

This is a blocked status and requires confirmation from the DFINERY manager.

Delete

You need to check with your KakaoTalk channel manager to confirm that it is in deleted status.

Deleting

As it is in the process of being deleted, you need to check with the KakaoTalk channel manager.
